Monthly Recap 03 (October) + Life Lately.

Bennymakachi Facebook, Bennymakachi blog posts

Hey loves!

Welcome to another monthly recap post. Its been a minute I know.. I’m not gonna bore you with reasons why I stayed away or the rest of the usual bants that comes with blogger break. Let’s do something more fun by talking about what I’ve been up to lately.

Hows that?

– Ah! where do I start. If you’re observant you’d have noticed that I tweaked my blog a little. The menu button is more direct now. I’ve made it easier for you to narrow down your search and/hit the category that pleases you most. What are you waiting for? check it out, silly!

This is because I’m growing and certain changes are taking place; its only natural that my blog reflects some aspect of that. Life moves and evolves. you better keep up with the pace at which it moves.

…Life is a living thing, darlings!

Do not be surprise with the lifestyle approach you may notice as time goes, my everyday experience; good and bad influences my blog. It’s a personal blog after all.. I want to share real life topics, how I navigate my challenges, emotions, places I travel to, cafe’s I explore in and around my city, relationship, friendship and style of course. you didn’t think I forgot that did you? Uh ah!

Not to worry, it’s still gonna be authentically me, relatable as always and serving you value. I’m more open to quality, meaningful collaborations and partnership. So, come correct with what you’re bringing to the table (not everything goes}.

Talk a good game!

In order to up my game and bring you better quality images like the writing, I upgraded my camera. I’m in the process of getting a hang of it. It’s different from my previous one. A review of the camera (price, shipping rate, spec and all of that, i’ll put in place in the post for those of you who maybe interested in it). keep up!

Fashion, black women, woman

– Journaling became my bestie guys, I got me a pretty journal that keeps me company everywhere and everyday. scribbling down thoughts, blog post ideas, plans, ticking entries off my to-do list (because done. Duh!).

My playlist has been on fire lately. You don’t get to listen to these songs and not be moved to do something which in my cased is write or create. Because you all are dear to me I’ll give you the name of two artistes on my playlist -‘SIR’ & MAHALIA’. go give them a listen, then go ahead and shoot your shot. Not forgetting Kiss Daniels -Yeba.

Beauty, lifestyle blog
Currently reading 48 laws of power. A special someone recommended it to me. For the longest time I ignored the book maybe because I saw it hacked in almost all the traffic in Abuja or because I thought it was on of those overhyped self-help books out there. Truth is this book has some valuable life hacks that could bring about positive result if properly practiced.

The hunt for my escape began this month; moving out of Ilorin opened my eyes to realize what I had with that place. The peace, anonymity, friends among other things. It’s not a hunt per se..Its more curiosity about what my next escape could be, how different or similar would it be to my previous one, would I compare them, love the new one more or less than Ilorin?

– When I tell you a lot happened not just in the last 3 months of me been awol, but October in particular was an awesome month for me. I turned a year older on 2nd of October. if you follow me on Instagram you would have seen my Insta stories on all of it. it was eventful and as usual came bearing lessons. I’ve prepared a post for you my lovely readers to catch up on what you missed. I won’t get too chatty and mushy on you guys.

Your girl graduated uni this month. Yea yea! a lot of you had no idea, now you do. it was an emotional moment for me surrounded by loved ones, replaying the fun, crazy and heart wrenching moments Universirty Of Ilorin provided (I wasn’t dramatic nor annoying about it I promise). My graduation happened and a lot of things hit me, some fell into perspective, the rest I work on as time goes. Either way I’m  enthusiastic about what lays ahead.

Investing in myself has been one thing I practiced more and whole heartedly in the month of October  this girl is proud of herself. My tip for you today is to do something that adds value to your life daily/weekly/monthly. you’ll be glad you did.

My other name last month was #BennyLivingLife. I can’t put into simple words how cool October was.  let me just say I’m thriving, oh! and loving!!! (wink).

Fitness journey has been going better than expected. When I got back at it.. I didn’t want it to be just about loosing weight; but maintaining a healthy lifestyle and body that looks good in and out of clothes. Ha! It’s not a phase.

There my sweethearts, its good to be back and have you all back; old and new readers alike. welcome to this chapter loves.

If you missed my older monthly recaps, catch up here and here. you’ll love it., wellness, bennymakachi travel

Get it. I think pink would look superb on you, sweetie. 48 Laws of power is a brilliant book but it’s not to be read in a rush. Thanks doll.
